Hey everyone,

I just got into the web developing side of things a couple months ago and decided to start up my own personal web site. Being that it isn't a full-fledged web site yet, I'm still hosting it on a free host for now. What you see now is the "initial release," of sorts, of my web site.

I welcome any comments and/or constructive criticism: what you like, what you don't like (and suggested ways to fix it), advice, and so on.

its ok , I cant say the design is very exciting and the content seems more of a personel blog style as in your interests etc.
But saying that its cool to see someone with a interest and passion and wanting to express that.

It's clean and simple, something you want on a site with the purpose of doling out information. You do need to look at the colour scheme, just imagine your living room being decorated with the same colours...

I agree with tonyenkiducx, the colorscheme isn't really appealing. The (small) white letters on a black background is quite a lot of effort to read.
And you might want to think about content as well. What is it exaclty that you want to present? is it a portfolio, a blog or you just want to show latsest and new things you've made/done? Who is going to be interested in that, in other words, who is you target audience? Right now all that is'nt really clear to (at least not to me).
Another thing, make sure your source validates. If you present yourself as a webdeveloper, it just looks a bit silly if you own site doesn't validate..
And lastly, the bevel-effect it's really that cool anymore.. ;)

I personally like the white text on black background. I would however choose a darker color for that main body color.

Nice site. The white letters on black background is OK, but the blue and white-beige (is that the right word in english?) doesn't fit that wel. I would personaly work with some more gray or white instead of the blue and white-beige.
